GCA works with families who have small businesses selling their items but need extra support to be sure their children are in school. Rather than do a sponsorship where we give money to the family or school, we work with skills and talents of each family to help them be able to provide for their children’s education. We suggest ideas to grow the audience they currently appeal to and offer design help to make items more tourist friendly. In addition, we work together with each artisan to design and produce items specifically for GCA. Then GCA buys these items at above fair trade value, twice a year, when school fees are due. The items are available for purchase from Justice gifts, below. Proceeds of some items go to specific projects or adoption support and will be listed as such. You can be assured you are getting an item that has been designed and crafted with quality materials and lots of love.
